The price you see is the price you pay. No exceptions.
G'day, I'm Brett. I started Local Skip Bin Hire after watching too many mates get quoted a good price on the phone and then hit with a surprise invoice when the bin was already on their driveway. Every price on this site is live, all-in, and locked. If anything ever feels off, text me directly — I read every message.

These answers explain the general booking process. The selected product, supplier conditions and checkout information apply to the final order.
How do I see local skip bin pricing?
Enter your suburb or postcode on the homepage. The next step can show available bin sizes, waste categories, local pricing and booking dates for the entered delivery area.
Does the displayed price include delivery, pickup and waste removal?
Yes. The displayed total includes delivery, pickup and removal of all accepted waste within the selected bin’s fill line, included weight, hire period and waste rules. Any additional charge must be shown in the product conditions or disclosed before checkout, including excess weight, overfill, extended hire, access issues, prohibited items, an incorrect waste category or council permits where applicable.
What affects the cost of skip bin hire?
Price can depend on the delivery postcode, bin size, waste category, included weight, hire period, local disposal costs, supplier availability, access requirements and restricted or surcharge items.
What skip bin size do I need?
Estimate the volume and type of material, check the available placement space and allow room to avoid overfilling. Dimensions and limits vary, so review the selected product carefully before booking.
What can go in a skip bin?
Accepted materials depend on the chosen waste category and supplier. General waste, green waste, builders waste, soil and heavy waste often require different products. Hazardous or prohibited items must not be added unless expressly permitted.
Do I need a council permit?
A permit or approval may be required when a bin is placed on a road, nature strip or other public land. Requirements vary by council and location, so confirm the relevant rules before booking.

Skip bin hire questions
Skip Bin Hire, Answered
Everything you need to know before booking a skip bin online — delivery times, hire periods, what goes in the bin and how pricing works.
How fast can a skip bin be delivered?
Next-day delivery is standard across our service areas — book today and the bin arrives tomorrow. Sunday is the only day we don't deliver, and there's no same-day cutoff time to race against.
How long can I keep the skip bin?
Your first 7 days of hire are included in the price. Need it longer? Just tell us — extended hire is flagged on your booking and confirmed with you before anything extra is billed.
What can and can't go in a skip bin?
General household waste, green waste, renovation debris and heavy materials like soil, brick and concrete are all fine — just pick the matching waste type when you book. A few items such as mattresses, tyres, e-waste and carpet can still go in with a small surcharge, which we confirm with you first. Hazardous materials — asbestos, chemicals, liquid paints and gas bottles — can never go in any bin.
Do I need a council permit for a skip bin?
If the bin sits on your own property — driveway, front yard or worksite — no permit is needed. If it needs to go on the street or nature strip, most councils require a permit and the rules vary by council, so check with yours or ask us when you book.
Will the delivery truck fit on my property?
Our delivery trucks need at least 3 metres of clear width and 4 metres of overhead clearance — check gates, carports, low wires and tree branches. If access is tight, add a note to your booking and we'll confirm it with you before delivery day.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see includes delivery, pickup and disposal, with GST. The only extras are the flagged surcharge items above — and if one applies, we confirm it with you first rather than surprising you afterwards.
