Skip Bin Permit Boroondara City Council
Clear placement rules, current council guidance and the practical steps to organise your skip bin.
Placing the bin on private property? A council permit is generally only relevant when the bin will sit on a road, footpath, nature strip or other public land.
If your skip is going on a road, footpath, nature strip or parking bay in the Boroondara City Council area, that is council land and the rules below apply. On your own driveway or property, they generally do not. "You don't need one if the bin is on private property."
