  • A security bond is charged on top of the application fee and is held against damage to the road or verge

How to apply

Applications go through Cairns Regional Council directly, not through us. Start with the council's fee schedule or call the council's permits line on 1300 69 22 47, and allow a minimum of 14 days — up to 30 days — for an outcome. Book the bin for a date that gives the permit time to come through, and have your delivery address and dates ready.
