Skip Bin Permit Central Coast Council
If your skip is going on a road, footpath, nature strip or parking bay in the Central Coast Council area, that is council land and the rules below apply. On your own driveway or property, they generally do not.

Conditions the council sets
- A ROL is required for the placement of a skip bin/container on a driveway or within the road reserve, and for placement of skip bins on the footpath or roadway
- For the placement of skip bins/containers, a sketch/drawing detailing the location, the dimensions of the occupancy within Council's road/road reserve, and any associated traffic control measures must be provided with the application
- A Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance of not less than $20,000,000 must accompany the application
- A traffic control and/or management plan prepared and approved by a suitably qualified Transport for NSW (TfNSW) accredited certifier must be provided where required
- It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure the security and safety of the occupied road space, including outside of working hours; Council is not responsible for injuries or damages caused by the occupancy

Book the bin for a date that gives the permit time to come through, and have your delivery address and dates ready.
