Conditions the council sets

  • An authorisation must be obtained from the City of Burnside under section 221 of the Local Government Act 1999 (SA) prior to the deposit of a Miniskip/Container on a public road in the Council's area
  • The applicant must install safety warning devices at the applicant's expense, including flashing lights and/or reflective bollards at each corner of the bin/container
  • The flashing lights and reflective bollards are to be in good working order and operational from sunset to sunrise
  • The applicant must place the bin/container adjacent to the subject property in the area approved and specified by the Council in accordance with the plan submitted with the application
  • The applicant must ensure the area surrounding the waste bin/container is kept free of debris (overspill) at all times
