Conditions the council sets

  • Fee code 10573 'Permit for interference with a road' is stated to cover: 'Includes but not limited to temporarily placing equipment or materials on a road or footpath.' Authority: Local Law No. 11 (Roads & Malls) 2008 and Subordinate Local Law No. 11.1 (Interference with a Road) 2008
  • Local Law No. 11 defines 'interfere with a road' to include 'the placing of goods, an object or material other than a vehicle on a road', and a road for this purpose 'includes a footpath'
  • A Works Zone must not be used to store a skip bin: 'A Works Zone is not for parking of construction-related vehicles or the storage of materials, including skip bins.'
  • Permit conditions under Subordinate Local Law No. 11.1 require that all waste generated as part of an interference with a road be disposed of in a safe and sanitary manner and the site kept clean and tidy
