Conditions the council sets
- No permit is needed for ONE bulk rubbish container on a verge adjacent to a property only if all of the local law conditions are met; otherwise placing one on a thoroughfare without a permit carries a modified penalty of $175
- "permission has been granted from the property owner adjacent to the verge if the person placing the bulk container or bulk rubbish container is not the property owner"
- "the bulk container or bulk rubbish container must be 2 metres back from the kerb if there is no path" and "is not placed on a path"
- "the bulk container or bulk rubbish container does not cause a sight obstruction for users of the thoroughfare" and "does not obstruct lawful use of the thoroughfare"
- "the bulk container or bulk rubbish container does not damage any street tree, kerb, path, sign, or other infrastructure on the thoroughfare"
