Conditions the council sets
- Local Law 2014 clause 8.2 "Activities allowed with a permit - general": "A person must not, without a permit - ... (k) place or cause to be placed on a thoroughfare or verge a bulk rubbish container"
- "bulk rubbish container means a bin or container designed or used for holding a substantial quantity of rubbish and which is unlikely to be lifted without mechanical assistance, but does not include a bin or container used in connection with the local government's regular domestic rubbish collection"
- Modified penalty published in the local law for clause 8.2(1)(k): "Placing a bulk rubbish container on a thoroughfare without a permit 200" ($200)
- Clause 8.2(1)(c) also requires a permit to "cause any obstruction to a vehicle or a person using a thoroughfare as a thoroughfare"
