Conditions the council sets
- No permit is needed for the placement of a SINGLE bulk container or bulk rubbish container on a verge adjacent to a property, provided all of the conditions in clause 2.2(3) are met; otherwise a permit is required to place one on a thoroughfare
- The placement must not exceed 7 days
- The container must be placed 2 metres back from the kerb if there is no path, and must not be placed on a path
- The container must not cause a sight obstruction for users of the thoroughfare and must not obstruct lawful use of the thoroughfare
- The container must not damage any street tree, kerb, path, sign, or other infrastructure on the thoroughfare
