Conditions the council sets

  • The structure must maintain a 1.5 m minimum distance from roads or kerb, trees, and structural elements including power poles, signs, fire hydrants, public service pits and bus stops
  • The structure may not be placed on, encroach on or impede access to roads or intersections (including rear laneways), footpaths, public access ways, or neighbouring crossovers
  • 'Reflective cones must be placed on the corners of structures to improve visibility'
  • 'The applicant must ensure that placed things and protective structures are sufficiently illuminated from sunset to sunrise'
  • 'All structures and any extraneous material must be removed by the expiry date and the road and/or footpath left clean and tidy'
