Conditions the council sets
- A flashing light at each end of the bin from sunset to sunrise, OR yellow retroreflective tape on the corners
- At least 10 metres from intersections and at least 2 metres from driveways/crossovers
- A minimum footpath clearance of 1.8 metres must be maintained for pedestrians
- Not permitted on roads with a speed limit of 80km/h or more
