Conditions the council sets
- The permit is a Structures and Obstructions Permit under the Public Places By-Law No. 1 of 2018
- $20 million public liability insurance is required
- Commercial-property placements attract a refundable infrastructure protection bond of $2,144.10 per bin; the $153.00 bond administration fee is waived where an infrastructure condition report is provided
- Occupying the road reserve without approval attracts an unapproved occupation surcharge of $284.10
