Conditions the council sets
- Approval for road reserve works is granted under Section 138 of the Roads Act 1993; receiving large deliveries that will park or store material in the road reserve, including skip bins, requires Council approval
- No work is to commence unless a Road Occupation Permit is issued by Council
- Evidence of Public Liability Insurance for a minimum of $20M covering the proposed works duration must be provided with the application
- A traffic guidance scheme prepared by a person holding current SafeWork NSW 'Prepare a work zone traffic management plan' accreditation must be attached to the application
- Any damage to Council assets as a result of construction must be repaired to Council's satisfaction, or Council may recover restoration costs under s101 of the Roads Act 1993
