Conditions the council sets
- A permit is required for "The temporary occupation of the road reserve by a private resident for non-profit purpose e.g. placing a shipping container, mini skip, stored equipment, building materials or hoarding" — a prescribed activity regulated under Local Law 1
- "Site plan must be submitted with application"
- "Each application requires an application fee to bond as security for the proposed works." The bond secures compliance and covers the cost of replacing damaged assets; "If the damage exceeds the bond amount, further costs may be charged."
- "Bonds will be refunded once all work and occupation within the road reserve are completed"
- The application requires the permit type (temporarily occupy footpath / temporarily occupy roadway / close roadway) and the duration in days to be specified
