Conditions the council sets

  • Council approval under Section 138 is required for "Receiving large deliveries that will park or store material in the road reserve, including skip bins"
  • "You need to include a Vehicle and Pedestrian Management Plan with your application. This must be prepared by a qualified person with Level 4 Certification in Traffic Control, and clearly show their name and ticket number."
  • Damage Deposit for Works in the Road Reserve Open or Occupy: Rental Category A (up to 5m occupation zone) Free; Category B (up to 10m) $2,655.00 — refundable upon satisfactory inspection, and any damage may result in the deposit not being refunded
  • Applications are lodged through Council's Online Self Service system (login/registration required, with multi-factor authentication), under "Apply for... Permits or Licences"
