Brett founded the business in 2016 after 15 years working across building, renovation and property projects, and can speak to what waste disposal actually costs households and trades, how prices vary by suburb, and which parts of Australia cannot get a service at all.
Current finding: 366 of 868 postcodes tested cannot be served by the national booking networks
Measured 28 August 2026. Of 868 Australian postcodes tested against four national skip-bin supplier networks, 366 (42%) returned no bookable price at any size on any tested date. 359 of those are regional postcodes.

Western Australia and Queensland carry the widest gaps in this sample. The pattern is overwhelmingly regional: only 7 of the 366 unserved postcodes sit inside a metropolitan band.
What this does and does not show: these postcodes cannot be served by the four national booking networks we aggregate. A local operator outside those networks may still serve some of them. Full definitions are on our methodology page.

We will pull a figure for a specific area on request, usually the same day. There is no charge and no requirement to feature the business.
Why this data exists
We are a marketplace, so we see real transacted prices across the country rather than one operator's rate card. That is an accident of the business model rather than a research project — but it means the numbers describe what people actually pay, and it means we can see the places where nobody will deliver at all.
