Conditions the council sets

A road reserve works permit is required in addition to any building or planning approval for occupation of council land, among other listed works
The application needs a plan of the proposed works identifying street assets (street trees, drainage pits, power poles), plus applicant, property owner and consent details
The $900 protection bond is refundable and returned after a satisfactory final inspection; a current rolling bond certificate issued by council can stand in for it
If work starts before the permit is applied for and an inspection done, any damage to council infrastructure is deemed the applicant's responsibility to rectify
