How much does a skip bin cost in Mount Druitt (postcode 2770)?
A 2 m³ general-waste skip bin in postcode 2770 costs $299 AUD and a 12 m³ costs $1,087 AUD, for a delivery on 2026-09-07 quoted live on 2026-08-30. The best value on the board is the 10 m³ at $89.90 per cubic metre.

Two things in that table are worth pausing on.
The 8 m³ is worse value than the 6 m³. It costs $95.50 per cubic metre against $92.17 — so stepping up from a 6 to an 8 costs another $211 and buys that extra capacity at a worse rate than the bin you were already looking at. Twelve gazetted suburbs: Emerton, Tregear, Dharruk, Whalan, Hebersham, Blackett, Lethbridge Park, Bidwill, Minchinbury, Mount Druitt, Willmot and Shalvey. It is a house postcode — 76.8% of its dwellings are separate houses against 65.6% across New South Wales — with 21,782 private dwellings, a population of 61,494 and a median age of 33 at the 2021 Census.
Two local facts that change the job
There is no tip in Blacktown. Blacktown City Council operates no waste facility, transfer station or Community Recycling Centre anywhere in the local government area. For problem waste it directs residents to centres in other council areas — North Parramatta, or St Marys. Driving it yourself is not the easy fallback here.
The free Council clean-up will not take a renovation. Blacktown offers up to 12 booked kerbside clean-ups a year at no extra charge to properties paying a Council waste service, but strictly one box trailer load (2 m x 1 m x 1 m) per collection, with a wait of up to 4 weeks — and building and demolition waste, concrete, asbestos, soil, glass, tiles, bricks, gyprock, metals, wood and fencing are all excluded. For a bathroom, a kitchen or a demolition, a skip is the only route.
Asbestos does not go in a skip. Council's own conditions: "14. Industrial or hazardous wastes must not be placed in any skip bin on a public road. 15. Asbestos material is to be disposed of in line with SafeWork NSW requirements." Asbestos must be assessed and removed by a licensed asbestos remover. It is never accepted in a skip bin, in any quantity.
